Andrew C. Switlyk

Originally from New York, Andrew earned his bachelors of science from SUNY Albany and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, and Masters in Business from Stetson University College of Law.  After law school Andrew worked as a Public Defender in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit of Florida, where he represented thousands of criminal defendants.  Afterwards, Andrew entered private practice and focuses solely on Bankruptcy and Family Law.  Andrew is licensed to practice in Florida as well as the U.S. Middle District of Florida.

Andrew is active in the Sarasota County Bar Association as chair of the small and solo practice section, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the American Bankruptcy Institute, Florida Bar Family Law Section, Family Court Professional Collaborative, and the American Bar Association.
